❌ They Ignored Our Voices
They Didn't Listen! IGNORED over 200 letters and citizen comments that opposed massive redevelopment, tax giveaways, and Uptown 240 delays.
They REFUSED to negotiate workforce housing for the Branded Residences PUD, ignoring grave community concerns.
They RUSHED approvals despite public outcry to slow the process with full research, transparent citizen planning and financial analysis.
They DISREGARDED the will of 230 voters who overturned their Branded Residences PUD decision—then went on to RUSH another JGJP deal through.
They NEGLECTED to hold town-controlled feedback sessions, silencing the voices they were elected to represent.
They endorsed plans that DISPLACE many small Dillon businesses, replacing many locally owned businesses with just a few corporate interests.
❌ They Did Not Uphold Dillon’s Town Charter.
Dillon’s Charter is meant to protect residents and ensure responsible governance—they betrayed that duty:

This Charter is founded in the belief that the quality of life of the people of Dillon shall continue to be enhanced through progressive municipal government responsive to the needs and concerns of the citizens.

It is intended that the Charter shall provide for the fullest possible participation in the affairs of the Town by every member of the community.
No member shall vote on any question on which the member has a conflict of interest.
Individual Council members shall not be authorized to give any direct orders to Town employees.

It is in the 2023 Annual Report on pages 188, 196, 204 and 212 (1 for each district).
Attorney Trish Harris from White Bear et al that represents the Triveni Square Metro Districts confirmed by letter and at a Town Council meeting that the seven Triveni Square Metro District voters had voted on and approved that $3,080,000,000 authorized but unissued debt amount on May 2, 2023. It is like setting a credit card limit. This total authorized but unissued debt amount will be used in the Official Statement, which is a bond prospectus, at the time any bonds are issued and it also keeps the Districts from the need to go to district voters to increase their total authorized but unissued debt up to this $3 billion amount.
